RETAIL
RAAC Removal, Killingworth
This project was completed in September 2023 on a commercial warehouse in Killingworth. The existing RAAC deck was removed, we designed and installed a new structural metal deck with a new insulated waterproofing system, all fixed to the buildings existing steelwork structure. A scaffold crash deck was erected internally to protect the internal fabric as well as our operatives, who successfully completed the works ahead of programme.
John Lewis, Kingston upon Thames
This project at John Lewis in Kingston Upon Thames was completed in Spring 2023. We stripped the existing roof and installed a new tapered insulation waterproofing system, installed new safety handrails, carried out drainage clearance with CCTV survey to ensure free flowing drains and cleaned all other area's of the roof.

John Lewis, Edinburgh
We installed a new timber deck with an Icopal built up felt waterproofing system on this John Lewis retail building in Edinburgh city centre.

Wilkinsons, Abergavenny & Bulwell
Both projects involved the overlay of a defective single ply waterproof system with a new single ply membrane.
Cater Road, Bristol
We removed the defective multi layered single ply bituminous felt system and installed Icopal/BMI insulated built up felt waterproofing system.
Storm Damage - Aylesford
This 11,500sq/m roof had suffered from storm damage and was in need of some structural repairs to the perimetre. We removed the damaged waterproofing and insulation, carried out the required structural repairs, supplied and installed new insulation and a BMI Monarplan waterproofing system. Alongside this we also installed new safety access equipment and upgraded the external lighting. The whole project was carried out whilst the site continued to operate 24/7
Distribution Centre - Aylesford
The defective waterproofing system needed replacing on this 1500 sq/m roof. We removed the old system, supplied and installed new insulation and Icopal Profiles waterproofing system. We also carried out repairs to the party wall and installed a pre-formed gutter system. The whole project was carried out whilst the site continued to operate 24/7
Waitrose, Winton
We prepared the roof and installed Icopal/BMI Profiles built up felt waterproofing system with a noxite cap sheet to the existing cut to falls insulation. This works was carried out in conjunction with a full store refurbishment.
Waitrose, Menai Bridge
This project involved the removal of a defective polycarbonate roof over a staircase. We installed a new plywood deck to suit the profile of the original steelwork and covered with a new single ply waterproofing system. We also re-lined 200 linear metres of profiled internal gutter to the pitched mansard roof using IKO Armourflow pre-formed gutter lining
Waitrose, Cheltenham

Waitrose, Dorchester
We stripped the existing defective waterproofing system, carried out asbestos removal and then installed Icopal/BMI Profiles built up felt waterproofing and insulation. Work was carried out in conjunction with a full internal store refurbishment.
Waitrose, Ruislip
We performed a full strip of the existing defective single ply waterproofing system. We supplied and installed Icopla/BMI Profiles built up felt waterproofing and insulation system and re-installed the staff patio/outdoor area.
Waitrose, Barnet
Work has completed at this Waitrose store in Barnet. We replaced 26 defective rooflights across the store roof, installed internal light diffusers and replaced a plant room door.
Waitrose, Norwich
This project involved a full strip of the cafe roof, supply and install of Icopal/BMI Profiles built up felt waterproofing and insulation system. We also carried out localised repairs across the rest of the stores roof which included pitched roofed area's, gutter inspection and cleaning. Installation of new plant louvres, electronic leak detection survey and repairs to the siphonic drainage system.
HEALTHCARE
Velindre Hospital, NHS Wales
Work started in March 2021 to remove the top sheet of upper profiled metal sheet on composite roof, we have upgraded the insulation, installed profiled cladding sheets and re-lined all gutters.
Child Development Centre, Hereford
This project was an overlay of the existing defective built up felt roof with the Icopal/BMI Profiles system
RUH Bath
Installation of a reinforced cold applied liquid waterproofing system and insulation boards
Cwmbrwla Ambulance Station
This project took place across two phases. The first involved the overlay of a defective built up felt roof with a vented underlayer and mineral capsheet on the Ambulance garage. The second was installation of a tapered insulation system over the staff area's and offices.
Musgrove Hospital
Work has just finished at Musgrove Hospital, we have installed Icopal/BMI Profiles system to a new building
EDUCATION
Gwernyfed High School
This project involved work on a number of flat roofs across various school buildings. Each flat roof was stripped back to the deck, new insulation installed and finished with BMI Icopal Profiles XL waterproofing system. 4 new roof lanterns & 4 low level windows were installed and all gutters and downpipes repaired and decorated. Some internal classroom decoration, new fascia boards, bat tiles and a number of bat boxes installed around the school grounds.
Cumberland School
The speedeck aluminium roof sheets were pressure washed and decontaminated in advance of coating. Adhesion tests were undertaken to ascertain the best Rooflock option. Rooflock Twelve LAW was applied to the roof sheets in two coats to achieve the 25 year system build-up and guarantee. New bespoke flashings were fabricated and installed to ridges and verges. Perimeter gutters cleaned, primed and waterproofed.
Cumberland School
The aged PVC single ply roof was prepped and slash cut. BMI Icopal SLP 300 loose laid separation layer and Monarplan FM 1.8 mechanically fixed to underlying structural deck. All new PVC coated metal trims were fitted to the perimeter and a new Monarplan rainwater outlet was installed.
Kitchen Refurbishment
This project was carried out through the summer holidays in 2024 and involved renovating a kitchen and old storeroom to provide a functional new kitchen space. New doorways were created, blocked up old windows, insulationg the space and installing new suspended ceiling, providing power for commercial fridges and freezers, raising the floor level to match the current kitchen space, building new walls and installing data cabeling for the tills. Alongside the construction elements we also re-decorated the whole area and installed new commercial kittchen units and surfaces. All completed on time and within the 5 week planned programme!
Refurbishment of staffroom, storeroom and kitchen
This full refurbishment of the staffroom, storeroom and kitchen was completed through the summer break in 2024. The exisiting kitchen was stripped out, walls removed and new stud walls built to provide a preparation area adjacent to the main kitchen area and a new storeroom was created within the staffroom. Suspended ceilings were installed, new fire doors fitted along with a fire rated roller shutter. New LED lighting and vinyl flooring throughout and a new commercial kitchen with extraction canopy.
Backwell School
Work on this project was completed in the summer of 2024. Old rooflights were removed and the apertures infilled. A new structural deck was installed and covered with Icopal Thermazone tapered insulation and Profiles waterproofing system. Rainwater goods were also replaced and roofline cladding was installed
Cwm Primary School
Completed in the summer of 2022, this project invoved stripping the existing waterproofing, replacing with a new Icopal Profiles built up felt waterproofing system. We also installed new rooflights and carried out some internal refurbishment including flooring, decoration and installation of mechanical vents.
Rowanfield Infant School - Cheltenham
This project was completed in November 2022, it involved a full roof refurbishment, installation of a tapered insulation and built up felt waterproofing system. A. umber of roof lights were replaced and an extension built to a classroom.
Crickhowell High School
This project involved us removing the asbostos roof slates, upgrading the insulation to the roof, installing a new waterproof breather membrane, timber battens and new roofing slate. We also replaced some Velux windows and carried out some structural repairs.
Complete refurbishment
Work has been completed at the Maesteg Construction centre of Excellence. This involved a complete overhaul of the existing facility, including external facades, roof replacement, new windows, doors and rollershutters. Ensuring the whole building is DDA compliant. Internally, a full mechanical and electrical upgrade, improved classrooms, offices and welfare facilities.

We are part of a framework with NPTC Group of Colleges covering all capitol repair works and maintenance, including building and roofing works
Wills Memorial Building
This iconic building needed upgrades to all the flat roof area's using a reinforced liquid system and insulation
Coleg Gwent
This project involved asbestos removal including AIB, we removed the existing copper roofs and north lights, installing Kingspan insulated composite roof system and new roof lights
The Peak Academy, Dursley
Removal of defective roof covering and installation of a tapered insulation with a built up felt warm roof system.
Forest High School, Cinderford
We carried out a full strip of the existing roof, installing a warm insulated roof system, upgraded all roof lights, removed asbestos and installed vertical profiled cladding.
Green Roofs
Green Roof installation - Groundhog, Neath
We installed a full metal deck (circa 500 sq/m), facade cladding, anodised capping's, man safe system, anti-root elastomeric felt waterproofing system and a green roof with irrigation. Wildflower plugs, sedum and blanket sourced from within the UK, ensuring the quality required to meet planning requirements. This project was completed on programme and within budget.
Green Roof - Down To Earth
This roof is a reciprocal timber structure with an IKO insulation and built up felt waterproffing system installed. A grass and sedum roof finishes the structure.
PETROL RETAIL
Shell Petrol Station, Swaffham
This project involved a full removal of the existing defective waterproofing system and insualtion. Installation of new insulation and Icopal Monarplan single ply waterproofing system mechanically fixed to the deck, installation of pre-formed trims and new rain water outlets. We also carried out CCTV survey of the drainage system.
RESIDENTIAL
Bungalow renovation
This dated bungalow was in need of a total overhaul both internally and externally. The wood panelled rooms and large pattern carpet just had to go! An extension was added to the rear of the property to allow for two larger bedrooms and the addition of an ensuite to the master. The wall between the kitchen and lounge was removed to create a large open plan living/dining/kitchen space. The addition of a new modern shaker style kitchen complete with breakfast bar, a newly renovated bathroom, underfloor heating throughout, new flooring and decor transformed the whole property. Extended living space, kitchen and new utility
This client wanted a rear extension across the full width of the house to allow for extended living space and open plan kitchen alongside a new utility room. The project was completed in August 2023. The new extension has a pitched roof with velux roof windows, a new kitchen/dining/living space complete with full decoration, new kitchen with large island, coordintaing utility room and large bi-fold doors ro the rear garden.
Extension build with new kitchen
This project was completed in July 2023 involving a new extension to an existing dwelling. The rear of the house was remodelled to work with the new extension space to create an open plan living/dining space. The renovation included re-positioning of the kitchen, creating a new utility area and a living/dining space in the new extension area complete with large roof lantern. Modern open plan living!
House refurbishment and upgrade
We carried out a full refurbishment and upgrade on this Cardiff property, turning it into 5 self contained flats, each one with its own kitchen, bathroom and 1 or 2 bedrooms.
Whole house renovation
Work has now completed on a whole house renovation in a Cardiff suburb. The renovations involved building a dormer loft conversion, adding ground and first floor extensions, creating extra bedrooms and bathrooms, a full electrical and mechanical reconfiguration, re-roofing works and full decoration throughout including fitted kitchen and bathrooms.
Single storey extension
We built a single storey, wrap-around orangery extension to the rear of the property. To provide lots of natural light a large glazed roof lantern was installed and bi-fold doors. We also installed a large decking area to the rear garden.
Full kitchen refurbishment
We removed the old kitchen, re-plastered, re-decorated and installed a new kitchen complete with quartz worktop.
Ensuite extension and refit
On this project the client wanted an existing ensuite made bigger and refitted with a walk-in shower, fitted units and a fully tiled wall and floor.
Bathroom refurbishment
We removed the existing bathroom suite and half tiled walls, installed a new larger bath with overhead shower, vanity unit and back to wall toilet unit. The floor and walls were fully tiled and LED's recessed under the bath front panel
