We were proud to have been presented with three awards at the IMA Awards in Manchester.
We were given a 'Highly Commended' award for our project involving the removal of RAAC on a John Lewis distribution centre in Killingworth, You can read more about this on our 'Portfolio' page.
We won an award for the 'Eco Active' Noxite installation at John Lewis in Kingston upon Thames alongside an award for the 'Installation Team of the Year' on this same project.
We are so proud for the team to be recognised in this way and it is fully deserved for the hard work they have all put in this year on all projects.
This renovation project in the Vale of Glamorgan is now complete.
The house was in desperate need of modernisation and upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen. In order to bring this beautifully located property back to life we built an extension at the rear which allowed us to increase the size of both bedrooms and add an en suite to the master. A full mechanical and electrical upgrade was carried out and under floor heating was installed throughout. We removed a wall between the lounge and kitchen allowing us to create an open plan living space, installed a new kitchen complete with all appliances and added french doors for easy access to the newly laid outdoor decking area. A new bathroom, ensuite shower room and flooring completed the renovation internally.
Externally landscaping was carried out installing composite decking areas and creating raised beds. The property itself had cladding installed along with some painting to bring the dull exterior back to life.

A Siphonic Drainage System works to prevent water ingress by draining away rainwater much more efficiently than traditional drainage systems that rely purely on gravity.
RTL will undertake a survey to identify whether siphonic drainage system is present within a building, if it is we can then determine if a full investigative survey and test of the system is required as well as provide remedial works and ongoing maintenance.
Work is well underway on this whole house renovation in the Vale of Glamorgan.
This two bedroom bungalow was in need of renovation throughout.
We have added an extension to the rear to create more space within the two bedrooms, enough to add an ensuite to the master.
The wall between the kitchen and lounge has been removed to create a modern open plan living space. A new kitchen with breakfast bar is being installed with French doors to an outside decking area.
The main bathroom has been upgraded with a large walk-in shower.
A full electrical upgrade and decoration throughout will completely transform this bungalow!

We were proud to support a DIY SOS project in Monmouth for a family in need of some extra space. Charlotte was recovering from a stroke and needed extra space to accommodate a place for her to carry out her physiotherapy at home. A two storey extension was planned and we were happy to help out along with the other 100 volunteers from across Wales. Products were supplied by Icopal.
